Janmashtami or Gokul Ashtami, is the celebration of the birth of Lord Krishna the eighth incarnation of Vishnu, as as per Hindu belief,

Traditionally a pot filled with curd , rice and milk is hung at a height in all neighbourhoods, where the people climb one over the other as circular pyramid and the person on the top would break the pot. There is euphoria in the air during this celebration. #Covid 19 this year it passed in a sombre way

The biggest festival of Maharashtra -- Ganesh Chaturthi - this year on 22.8.2020 celebrated with abundant festivity by the Hindus of Maharashtra and all over the world

Pujas, sweets- especially 'modak', coloured dresses, all abounding to immense joy and celebration, after which the idol is immersed into the waters after a set number of days or sometimes even on the same day. #Covid 19 -- this year it was celebrated on extemely low key in various neighbourhoods
